How to add your iCloud calendar to MeetingDigest
When using Gmail and Outlook, we access your data on behalf of your login tokens. This way you can give us access to your data, without the need for giving us your credentials. Unfortunately Apple don't offer this, so we need to do it a bit different. But the endresult is the same !
How To Guide
Follow these steps to add your iCloud calendar:
- Launch the Calendar app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap on the Calendars button on the button navigation, to show all calendars
- Tap on the Info button to the right of the calendar you want to make public
- Scroll down and turn On the option for Public Calendar
- Tap on Share Link ... to get the public URL of your calendar
- On the Sharing popup click Copy. This is the string you will copy into MeetingDigest
Remember that others can only access and see your calendar data, if YOU share the above link with people. Otherwise your data is safe.
- Log into icloud.com with your Apple Id
- Click on the selector icon in top right and select Calendar
- Click on the Share icon on the right of the selected calendar name
- Select and enable Public Calendar
- Click on the Copy link text below to copy your public URL
Remember that others can only access and see your calendar data, if YOU share the above link with other people. Otherwise your data is safe.
When you have copied your iCloud public calendar URL, click on the "Add Calendar" button to add your iCloud calendar to MeetingDigest.
